discovered this via one of the clients I teach.  It’s from the musical Spring Awakening (which was also written by Duncan Sheik, a singer and songwriter I love!).  it was made famous by Lea Michele from “Glee”, who was in the musical on Broadway.

LOVE the holidays… Christmas is probably my favorite holiday of all.  I have so many fond memories of family Christmases, and caroling in my teens with my high school choir.  It was always a really special time of the year for me, and a really positive way to wrap up a year.

I decided to record a cover of one of my favorite Christmas songs… “The Christmas Song.”  Yes, that is the real title!  …although most people refer to it as the “Chesnuts Roasting On An Open Fire” one.  My two favorite versions of it are by Nat King Cole and Mel Torme -- I like the classics!  I found a fantastic arrangement of it that I love.  Please enjoy, and I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season!

few months back, I created some videos for each of the songs on my album. Unfortunately, I never did get around to making one for “Home”, but now I finally did! The holidays got me thinking about home, and how much I miss the holidays in Maine and New England.
